WHO’s illustrated story: “I had a Black Dog, his name was depression”

The depression can be a debilitating, frightening condition. Millions of people everywhere in the world live with depression. Many of these people and their families are afraid to talk about their issues, and don’t know where to turn for help. But, the depression is largely treatable and preventable.

To recognize the depression and to seek for help is the first and most critical toward the recovery.

WHO together with the writer and illustrator Matthew Johnstone, in order to mark the World Mental Health Day, tells us the wonderful story of overcoming that “black dog of depression”.
