Granola bars. The word itself sounds delicious. Granola bar recipe? Even better. Why are they so awesome? Well, they are small, you can take them anywhere, you don’t have to take a napkin with you, and you can eat them everywhere.
However, they are not all created equally and that means some of them are healthier and some are just full with sugar. That is why when you buy these little precious sweets, check the sugar first. It is recommendable to be with less than 8 grams of sugar. Also, look at the ingredients.

1. Cinnamon Granola Bars
You will need 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 cups oats, 2 spoons honey, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ cup softened butter, 1 egg, 2 spoons ground linseed, 1 cup flour, ½ cup raisins and ¾ sucanat.
If by any chance you are not fan of the cinnamon, feel free to leave it out, by changing it with another spice.
Put the butter and sucanat in a dish, and use the mixer to beat it for 2 minutes. Add the egg and beat the mixer again. Add the honey and linseed. Stir it. Finally you add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and oats. Mix them all. At the very end, you add the raisins and stir for the last time.
In a big pan, put the granola mixture and put it in the oven. Bake it until it gets golden brown.
2. Dark chocolate, cherry and almond Granola Bars
So, you need 1 and 2/3 cups oats, 1/3 honey, 1/3 flour, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ dried cherries, ½ cup almonds, ½ crushed chocolate bar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ cup coconut oil, ¼ cup brown sugar. In a bowl, all the ingredients should me mixed thoroughly and then put in the baking pan.
They should be baked for 20-25 minutes at 180 C till it gets the golden brown color. Let it cool a bit before you cut it.
