In one TV show about living healthy on the first channel of the Russian national television, a doctor of medical science and psychiatrist, Mark Sandomirsky, advises his patients to relieve the stress using one simple method.
The effects and causes of stress usually vary, and people experience it in many different ways. When we are stressed, we are feeling really uncomfortable, and that feeling is followed by a feeling of pain or heaviness in some parts of the body.
The first thing that you need to do is to get rid of all destructive emotions. Don’t keep the emotions in yourself. After that, remove the physical effects. For that, psycho-reflexology can help you a lot. The nature has created some anti-stress points in the body and you should massage these points in order to relieve the stress.
Ancient Chinese named this point Shen Men or “The Gate of Heaven”, because the treatment of this point brings celestial energy to the whole body. Shen men is a miraculous, deep point that strengthens the overall health, boos the energy flow and decreases stress.
This acupressure point also suppresses addiction and inflammation, and its treatment can relieve the pain in every body part. Massage the Shen men point located on your ear in order to relieve stress. The Gate of Heaven or Shen men is located in the center of the upper third part of the ear.
Dr. Sandomirsky explains the technique:
Using a cotton bud press the point on the ear and gently massage it. Breathe deeply and listen to your body carefully. Keep breathing deeply. When you exhale, look to the right, and on the inhale look to the left. So, you will feel how your body is calming down.

- Massage the point every time when you are stressed.
- Repeat this technique every night before sleeping.
