Red diet – Lose 3 kilograms in 5 days and detox your body

The red diet got its name after tomatoes’ color.

Meals including tomatoes cleanse the body from toxins and burn the fat. In five days you can lose up to 3 kilograms and cleanse your body completely from toxins.

Tomatoes are the perfect diet vegetable since they have fewer calories (in 100 grams, only 18 calories) and tons of vitamins A and C, kalium and lycopene, the most powerful antioxidant which lowers the risk of malignant illnesses.

The red diet lasts for five days but you could repeat it after two days of break. During diet, forget about sweets, white bread and cheese but do consume chicken, fish, fruit, vegetables and cereals. You could only use the olive oil, salt, pepper and aromatic herbs.

Each morning after you wake up, drink a glass of warm water. Eat at least 4 times a day. The breakfast and snack could be with or without tomatoes, but lunch and dinner must include them.

Suggestions for tomato meals:

Tomatoes and cheese: Mix 300 grams of sliced tomatoes, 200 grams of cheese, cover them with cold olive oil and spice with basil. Eat 30 grams integral bread with the salad.

Red DietPasta with tomato sauce: Cut two carrots and poach them in olive oil, add 50 ml of chicken soup and poach them for 5 more minutes. Add 450 grams sliced tomatoes; add salt and pepper and spice it with a half teaspoon of honey, then poach for 15 more minutes. Boil 100 grams pasta and cover them with the sauce.

Greek salad: Cut one bulb onion, two tomatoes and a bigger cucumber. Cover them with olive oil and spice them by flavor. Eat 30 grams integral bread with all that.

Cold gazpacho: Cut 300 grams tomatoes, one pepper and one bigger cucumber, put them in a blender and add 1 spoon of olive oil, two pieces of garlic and 2 pieces of baked bread cut into cubes. Add salt and pepper and leave the meal to cool.

Stuffed tomatoes with rice: Take three tomatoes and put them in a fireproof dish. Mix 100 grams cheese and 125 grams semi-boiled rice at side, add basil, tomatoes cut into cubes and garlic, and fill the tomatoes with this mixture. Bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
