I must confess that one of the reasons I’m writing this to you is that I did like M&M a lot. And it’s not been just me, unfortunately.I’m talking in a past tense, as once I understood what harm they can cause to the body, I just pass them instead of diving in them .
Now I will explain to you the reasons why:

Which Harmful Ingredients Were Found
In 1976, people started doubt abut the quality of the red color of the candies and that it is cancerogenic. Therefore , this color has been banned from usage . But then, in 1983, it started to be used again. People again started to argue about this artificial color to be removed from the product. These kind of artificial food colors have been also named as neurotoxic chemicals.
Later, people urged Kraft Macaroni and Cheese to remove the Yellow#5 and Yellow#6 food color as well, collecting 350k signatures.
About these dangerous ingredients in the candies, Dr. Jacobson state that they worsen the children’s behavior and the companies should switch to natural colorings.
WHAT are the M&M’s ingredients?
In the list of the current ingredients which are written at the back of the Original M&M’s packaging besides the natural ingredients, are also listed the artificial colors, soy lecithin, and gum acacia.

The company is more a high profitable one so clearly can invest in the improvement of the product for the sake of the human health.
