According to one research from the University of Michigan, we can utilize the ginger root to kill ovarian and prostate cancer cells.
The ginger has been used to treat nausea and inflammation for a long time and everywhere in the world, but the results showed in a session at the American Association for Cancer Research give us information that in every situation where ginger powder was used for treating cancer cells, they all died. This is called apoptosis or cancer cell suicide, while autophagy is when the cell attack one another when the ginger is present.
While the ginger has been considered like a supernatural remedy for the people who are undergoing chemotherapy, it can be used to treat cancer in larger quantities of its own accord.
Another research shows that the ginger is able to fight ovarian cancer. The use of the ginger might have potential in the prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer.
Also, it has been proven that the ginger can treat prostate cancer. The British Journal of Nutrition published the American study’s results, in which the ginger extract killed prostate cancer cells, while the healthy cells were left untouched. It was revealed that the ginger extract can shrink the prostate tumor size by 56 percent.
This powerful spice has no toxicity even when consumed in high doses, and doesn’t cause side effects of radiation and chemo treatments. The American Cancer Society claims that more than 20,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and more than 15 percent of men will be diagnosed with the prostate cancer this year. Many of these cancers can be treated with ginger root.
While the pharmacy would have these women and men treated with invasive treatments, some ginger root powder can kill the cancer cells.
