Some studies have shown that the increased levels of cortisol can lead to the so-called “toxic fat” gathering in your abdominal area. This can increase the risk of heart disease – both the risk of stroke and heart attack.
One of the results with higher production of cortisol is that it boosts an increase in the amount of insulin which is released into the bloodstream. Well, this can affect the blood sugar levels, and that usually results in increased appetite.
2. Poor Libido
The poor libido can be a sign that you have a hormonal imbalance. The Androgen is produced in men by the testicles, and in women by the ovaries. The lack of the hormone can give rise to poor libido.

6. Excess Sweating
The excess sweating can be one another sign that you may have a hormonal imbalance. The women that go through the Perimenopause or Menopause usually experience hot flashes. When in bed, at night, these are well-known as night sweats, and sometimes they are the precursor to the onset of the menopause, if it is not in full swing.
In both women and men, the night sweats may be a result of issues with the endocrine system, brought about by under or over production of hormones like the serotonin.
7. Digestion problems

They are called Secretin, Cholecystokinin and Gastrin, also popular as CCK. The craving for sugar can be another sign of hormone imbalances, and it can be brought about by the thyroid gland. That is another consequence of the hypothyroidism, when your gland is underactive.

9. Hair Loss
It was generally thought that the hair loss was a result of a lack of the hormone Testosterone. This can be true in the terms of the root cause, but it is known now that the DHT or Dyhydrotestosterone is believed to be the main culprit. Whilst women just have a small level of Testosterone, and it is enough to cause the DHT to provoke the hair loss.
